Cold in Cumbria

When I booked to go on a photography trip in Cumbria, I secretly thought it might be somewhat of a holiday – no school runs, no meal planning and four blissful days of taking photographs in the Cumbrian countryside. Well one week later and I’m still tired! If it weren’t for the seriously talented team and deliciously homely meals from Brian the chef, it could be akin to a photographic bootcamp with horizontal rain and snow thrown in to test my resolve… but it was outstanding. Wonderful people, beautiful surroundings and only bumps of the hilly variety on the roads rather than the horrendous ‘traffic tamers’ here in London. The experience was inspiring to say the least.
